INCENTIVE ALIGNMENT (IA)

What

Incentive Alignment (IA) refers to the identification and incorporation of appropriate incentive mechanism in data collection methods such that respondents are fully motivated to reveal their real life preferences. There is now an extensive and growing literature on this topic. Please see my 2007 JMR paper on the topic.

Current Work

I am working with a diverse group of coauthors (including my current and past doctoral students) on designing vairous incentive aligned data collection methods, including quasiPatent system, Sleuth Game, Group Sourcing, Repurchase Acceleration, etc.
